Real Help for Oregon's Veterans and Families

our MISSION

Supporting Those Who Defend Us

The Oregon Military Support Network (OMSN) is a boots-on-the-ground coalition mobilizing communities to meet the real-world needs of Oregon’s veterans and military families.  â€‹From suicide prevention and housing assistance to holiday meals and gifts for families in crisis, we coordinate direct, hands-on support — not just information. We believe in connection over red tape, in action over talk. Whether you’re a veteran or a civilian ally, there’s a role for you in this mission. â€‹This is how we serve — together.

Holiday Support

Showing Up When It Matters Most

For many veteran and military families, the holidays can bring more pressure than peace.

OMSN steps in with practical, hands-on support: Christmas trees, gifts for children, Thanksgiving dinners, and help for families facing a hard season. No speeches. No red tape. Just people showing up for people who served.

If you want to help make the holidays easier for a veteran family, we can put you to work.

Suicide Prevention

Seventeen a Day Is Seventeen Too Many.

Every day, an average of 17 veterans die by suicide in America. That number is not acceptable, and waiting is not a strategy.

OMSN works with veterans, families, community partners, and local organizations to support education, intervention, and warm hand-offs to resources that can make a difference when time matters.

This work saves lives because it happens close to the ground.
